Our Recent Projects

  • Give me a home among the gum trees…

What an absolute pleasure it was to work on this stunning project! The home features breathtaking vaulted ceilings and a massive wrap-around deck that flows seamlessly through the space—truly impressive. But the real standout? The exterior walls clad in Monument Colorbond steel. No paint, no fuss—just sleek, modern durability that’ll last for decades.

The client’s bold choice to go with Monument (a deep, rich black) was a game-changer. Not only does it give the home a sharp, contemporary edge, but it also means they’ll never have to repaint the exterior again. How good is that? The matte finish complements the natural surroundings perfectly, letting the architecture shine while keeping maintenance to a minimum.

We were seriously impressed with the client’s eye for design—their selections made this project look next-level. Every detail, from the Colorbond cladding to the interior finishes, came together flawlessly. And the best part? The client was thrilled with the result (and so were we!).

If you’re considering a low-maintenance exterior that still packs a serious style punch, Colorbond steel in Monument is worth a look. It’s durable, striking, and—let’s be honest—a genius way to save time and money in the long run.

Another happy client, another stunning home. That’s what we love to see!

  • Massive Project to finish 2021!

Wow, this is one of our biggest jobs we have taken on, 3 terraces each with duel living spaces and a central courtyard! What a mission… but we were equal to the challenge. Another Roonsleigh Construction Success!

Looking ahead, we’re excited for what the future holds—more incredible projects, more challenges to conquer, and more opportunities to bring visions to life.

Stay tuned for updates, and as always, thanks for following our journey. Here’s to more successes in the years ahead!

  • A Monumental Transformation

Working on this Roosnleigh Homes project was an exciting milestone for us. The home itself was stunning, but the real showstopper was the media room—a complete blackout space painted in Monument, a rich, moody colourbond shade that set the perfect tone for an immersive theater experience.

From walls to ceilings to trim, every surface was carefully coated in Monument to create a seamless, cocoon-like effect. The colour choice wasn’t just about aesthetics; it played a crucial role in enhancing the room’s functionality. Dark tones absorb light, reducing glare and reflections, making it an ideal setting for enjoying movies in true cinematic style.

The transformation was incredible. What started as a standard room quickly became an inviting, sophisticated space. Seeing the final result, with its deep, enveloping atmosphere, was incredibly rewarding—not just for us, but for the homeowners, who loved the bold, modern feel.

It was our first paint job for Roosnleigh Homes, but certainly won’t be our last. Projects like this remind us why we love what we do—turning spaces into experiences, one coat of paint at a time.

  • Achieving the Perfect Hamptons Paint Finish

This was a truly rewarding project. The homeowners were thrilled with the outcome, and we couldn’t be prouder of the sharp, seamless finish. Achieving clean transition lines between the two exterior tones required meticulous attention to detail—but that’s exactly the kind of challenge we love.

Our process was methodical. First, we carefully masked the windows, ensuring no overspray would affect the glass. Then came the base coat, spray-finishing the walls for a smooth, even result. Once that was set, we masked the walls to define the trim edges, followed by a precise spray finish on the trim itself. The result? Razor-sharp lines that define and enhance the home’s architecture.

The pictures truly tell the story—the close-ups reveal crisp edges, seamless transitions, and a professional finish that elevates the home’s exterior. It’s projects like this that remind us why we do what we do. There’s nothing quite like seeing a homeowner’s face light up when they see the final result.

  • ooh ahh, so shiny and new.

We bought this Graco 495 Paint sprayer back in June 2019. Oh, how it looks so shiny and new, too bad it never lasts. I hope the actual sprayer does though! It has been 6 months of continuous use… touch wood!

  • Featured Exterior Colour – Black?

Well you would have to say, we can paint whatever colour you want. But Black? In Australia? In the Tropics? Questionable. I reckon it looks brilliant though!

What do you think? Are you a fan of Black!

  • High-end Spray Finish Doors

Although this isn’t a new system for us, we often hear from builders that they’ve never seen it before. That’s because achieving a perfectly smooth, nap-free finish on doors requires the right tools and techniques—and we take pride in using the best.

For all our projects, we relied on these high-quality door stackers to ensure a flawless spray finish. These stackers allow us to coat both sides of the door efficiently, eliminating runs, uneven textures, and the dreaded orange peel effect. By keeping doors horizontal during spraying and drying, we achieve a factory-level finish that stands out in high-end homes.

The results speak for themselves—the superior choice for a polished, professional finish. It’s details like these that make all the difference, especially for discerning clients who appreciate precision and craftsmanship in every aspect of their home.

If you’re looking for expert door painting on the Sunshine Coast, we’re here to deliver exceptional quality with every project.

  • Elevating Spaces: The Beauty of Vaulted Ceilings

This was one of the first jobs we had the opportunity to complete for SX Homes. I’ve always admired vaulted ceilings—there’s something about an open void that creates a spacious, airy feel, adding depth and character to a home.

Painting vaulted ceilings? No doubt they look incredible, but access can be a real challenge. We were definitely up for this one—just another day on the job! Check out these photos showcasing some of our interior painting work
